Telenor (OSL:TEL) (Fornebu, Norway and Omsk, Russia - 12 December 2008) The Eighth Arbitrazh Appellate Court in Omsk in Siberia will on 19 December resume the hearing of Telenor's appeal of the USD 2.8 billion judgment issued against the Norwegian company last August in Khanty-Mansiysk. The hearing started on Friday, 12 December.

Telenor (OSL:TEL) (Fornebu, 5 December 2008) The four regional health authorities in Norway and Telenor have entered into agreements for the provision of fixed and mobile telephone services. In total, the agreements are worth approximately NOK 120 million annually. Procurement Services for Health Enterprises (PSHE) has carried out the procurement on behalf of the four regions.

Telenor (OSL:TEL) (Fornebu,2 December) Telenor is set to supply all mobile and fixed telephony to Carlsberg in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. Telenor and Carlsberg have today signed a four-year agreement, which will strengthen Telenor's position in the Nordic market.

Telenor (OSL:TEL) (Fornebu, 26 November 2008) On 29 October, Telenor announced its intention to fund its investment in India through a rights issue of NOK 12 billion. Telenor has now decided to evaluate alternative ways of funding the investment, including the previously announced rights issue.

Now Telenor is introducing a completely new bully filter to shut the bullies out of mobile phones and all three organisations are commencing a major awareness campaign, to make people more aware of how both parents and children can best deal with digital bullying. They have been joined in this by Norway's biggest Internet community, VG Nettby.

Telenor (OSL:TEL) (Fornebu, Norway - 21 November 2008) On Wednesday 20 November the formal establishment of the first ever Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce took place at Telenor's headquarters in Norway. The Chamber will have as its main ambition to promote increased trade and business relations between Ukraine and Norway.

Telenor (OSL:TEL) (Fornebu, Norway; Kyiv, Ukraine; and New York, New York - 20 November 2008) The US Federal Court for the Southern District of New York on 19 November granted Telenor's motion requesting that Alfa Group companies Altimo, Alpren, Hardlake and Storm be held in contempt of court for their failure to obey a November 2, 2007 court order upholding Telenor's arbitration award against Alfa Group subsidiary Storm. The Court held all four companies in contempt, imposed escalating fines, and ordered Storm to sell its shares in Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar within 90 days, unless within that period, Alfa has divested its shareholdings in excess of 5 per cent of Turkcell and Ukrainian High Technologies.
