Tele2 AB (STO:TEL2B) Stockholm - Tele2 AB, ("Tele2"), (OMX Nordic Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2 B), today announced that it has conducted an impairment test of goodwill for continued operations, resulting in a total impairment loss of SEK 943 million, which will be reported in Q3 2008. The impairment loss will have no impact on Tele2's cash flow.

Tele2 AB (STO:TEL2B) As of 30 September 2008 the number of shares in Tele2 AB amounts to 449,799,339 shares of which are 38,173,706 Class A shares, with ten votes each, and 406,677,633 Class B shares and 4,948,000 Class C shares with one vote each. The total number of votes in the company amounts to 793,362,693. In September the number of shares in the company has increased with 850,000 Class C shares and the number of votes in the company has increased with 850,000.

Tele2 AB (STO:TEL2B) Stockholm - Tele2 AB, ("Tele2"), (OMX Nordic Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2 B), today announced that it has sold its Swiss operation to TDC Sunrise. TDC Sunrise will pay in cash approximately SEK 300 million on a debt and cash free basis. Completion is expected following approval from the relevant regulatory authorities.

Tele2 AB (STO:TEL2B) Stockholm - Tele2 AB, ("Tele2"), (OMX Nordic Exchange: TEL2 A and TEL2 B), further to the announcement of the start of the repurchase of B shares on 3 September 2008, Tele2 AB announces that it has completed the repurchase of 4,500,000 Tele2 B shares, which corresponds to approximately one (1) percent of all shares in Tele2. The Board of Directors will propose to cancel the repurchased shares at the next Annual General Meeting.
