Hafslund (OSL:HNA) During the past two years Hafslund ASA has experienced a considerable growth within the areas of district heating and renewable energy. The Group is making organisational changes to reflect this.

Hafslund (OSL:HNA) Reference is made to notice given 5 January 2009. The maximum loan amount of the commercial paper with maturity 13 October 2009 has been increased from NOK 500 million to NOK 750 million. Outstanding amount in the commercial paper is NOK 550 million.

Hafslund (OSL:HNA) Hafslund ASA has 5 January 2009 increased a commercial paper with maturity 13 October 2009 with NOK 50 million. After this transaction, outstanding amount in this commercial paper is NOK 550 million.

Hafslund (OSL:HNA) Reference is made to the notice to the Oslo Stock Exchange on 5th November 2008 regarding realised convertible bonds in REC. Hafslund has now received the decision by the Tax Office for Large Enterprises (SfS), in line with the draft, whereby SfS maintains full taxation and assesses the value of each REC share at the date of conversion in early March 2006 at NOK 81.50.

Hafslund (OSL:HNA) Hafslund Telekom has entered into an agreement with Pronea AS regarding the sale of Nittedalsnettet AS and Bredbåndservice AS. Pronea AS will pay NOK 25 million for 100 % of the shares in both companies. The sale will be completed effective today, and will give a result close to the balance sheet value.

Hafslund (OSL:HNA) A change of employee representatives to the Board of Hafslund ASA has been completed. Kjersti Nystad Skeie will withdraw from the Board and be replaced by former deputy member (employee representative) Tyra Marie Hetland.
