Norwegian Property ASA (OSL:NPRO) Norwegian Property ASA (OSE:NPRO, NPRO.OL) has appointed Mari Thjømøe to the position of CFO. Thjømøe has broad experience from accounting and finance, recently as EVP and CFO of KLP, one of Norway's largest players within life insurance and pension funds. At KLP her responsibilities also included the group's investment portfolio, including a significant portfolio of commercial property. Thjømøe has many years of experience from public companies, and has previously been director of IR at Statoil ASA, and held various management positions at Norsk Hydro ASA. Thjømøe is a non-executive director at several other companies, including Petoro AS, Oslo Børs ASA and Oslo Børs VPS Holding AS.

Richardsen has extensive experience from commercial property management and was previously Property Manager at SpareBank1 Gruppen Eiendom from 1997 and up to his appointment at Norwegian Property. Before this he was managing director of OBOS Næringsforvaltning, the commercial property management arm of OBOS. Richardsen will be responsible for new rental contracts as well as renegotiation of contracts with existing tenants. Additionally, he will be responsible for liaising with tenants, real estate advisors/brokers and the real estate market in general. Norwegian Property ASA (OSL:NPRO) CEO Petter Jansen has on 29 December 2008 entered into a forward contract for the purchase of 35 000 shares in Norwegian Property ASA, with expiry date 19 May 2009 and purchase price NOK 6.1763 per share.

Birkeland will be responsible for the further development of the Company's IR-strategy and its positioning in the Norwegian and international capital markets. Birkeland has extensive experience from different sides of the capital market; from Investor Relations and funding activities as well as from transaction- and exchange-related advisory services. Birkeland holds a BA (Hons.) in Business Management from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, and has held positions such as: Investor Relations Officer with Kenor ASA; Finance Manager and IRO og Crew Development Corp.; Senior Advisor with Oslo Børs (Listing and Compliance); and worked as a Director with the Corporate Finance unit of various investment banks.
