Dannemora Mineral AB (STO:DMAB) DECLARATION OF INTENT SIGNED WITH THE SWEDISH RAIL ADMINISTRATION ON RENOVATION OF THE RAILWAY LINE BETWEEN THE DANNEMORA MINE AND HARGSHAMN

Dannemora Mineral AB (STO:DMAB) During December 2008 Dannemora Mineral AB obtained a "Designation of Land" by the Mining Inspectorate of Sweden for the planned iron ore mining at Dannemora. The "Designation of Land", is the last major, necessary permit issued by the Mining Inspectorate, implies that the land area necessary for the planned mining operation is permitted and approved. The permit has been facilitated by the fact that Dannemora Mineral AB is the sole owner of the required land area. Together with current permits according to the Building and Planning Act the "Designation of Land" is the last major permit necessary for the planned mining operation.

Dannemora Mineral AB (STO:DMAB) * London-based Endeavour Financial Ltd has been engaged as advisor for the loan part of the Dannemora mine financing. Completion of the financing is planned for Q1 2009.

Dannemora Mineral AB (STO:DMAB) * Financing of the Dannemora mining project is planned to be completed in Q1 2009. * Endeavour Financial has been engaged as financial advisor. * Pre-production installation work will generate the first iron ore in 2009 for trial deliveries to potential customers and the planned sales as coarse ballast. * The ore processing plant is scheduled to be operational in Q1 2010. Production in the mine and plant will then gradually work up to full capacity by late 2011/early 2012.

Dannemora Mineral AB (STO:DMAB) Dannemora Magnetit has signed an agreement with Bergteamet AB for completion of the rock work in the Dannemora mine. The work involves ramp placement and pre-production development work.

Dannemora Mineral AB (STO:DMAB) * On 18 June, the Swedish Environmental Court approved Dannemora Mineral's application to conduct mining activities in Dannemora. The ruling now has the force of res judicata and cannot be appealed.
