Linde AG (FRA:LIN) Munich, 29 December 2008 - The technology group The Linde Group and its consortium partner Samsung Engineering, Korea, have been awarded the contract to build a turnkey ethylene plant in Dahej, India. The plant has been commissioned by the Indian company OPAL, a subsidiary of the state-owned ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd). The contract is worth around 1.030 billion euro in total, of which Linde's share is 350 million euro. The plant will be the largest of its kind in India and one of the largest ethylene plants in the world.
Linde AG (FRA:LIN) Munich, 1 December 2008 - Today, Linde Finance B.V., guaranteed by Linde Aktiengesellschaft, issued a 6.75 percent 600 million euro 7-year Eurobond securing further long-term financing for the Linde Group. The bond, which is due 8 December 2015, had a re-offer price of 99.534 percent to give a spread of mid swaps plus 330 basis points. This equates to a spread of 403.4 basis points over the respective July 2015 German government benchmark. Joint Bookrunners were Deutsche Bank and Société Générale with LBBW and DZ Bank as further Co-lead managers. Linde is rated Baa1 (stable) by Moody's and BBB+ (stable) by S&P. The transaction has been launched under Linde's Debt Issuance Programme. The bond has the following ISIN XS0403540189 and will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

Linde AG (FRA:LIN) Munich, 29 October 2008 - The technology group The Linde Group has signed a further long-term on-site supply contract for industrial gases with the Hungarian chemical company BorsodChem Zrt. The agreement involves the construction of a new air separation unit (ASU) at BorsodChem's Kacinzbarcika site in north-eastern Hungary for around EUR 26 million.
Linde AG (FRA:LIN) Munich/Dagmersellen, 23 October 2008 - The technology group The Linde Group, via its Swiss subsidiary PanGas AG, is to build a new air separation plant in Muttenz, in the Swiss canton of Basel-Land, for around 68 million Swiss francs (44 million euro). The new plant, which will have a capacity of over 500 tons of liquefied nitrogen, oxygen and argon per day will come on stream in the late autumn of 2010.

Ltd and Hanwha Chemical Corporation (HCC) in Ningbo in eastern China. Under the agreements, Linde will build an additional air separation plant at the emerging industrial site on the Yangtze delta, an investment of around 17 million euro.
