Buccaneer Energy Limited (ASX:BCC) Cosmopolitan Permitting Update

Buccaneer Energy Limited (ASX:BCC) (PINK:BCGYF) is pleased to advise that the Department of Natural Resources ("DNR") has granted Buccaneer a Land Use Permit ("LUP") for the Cosmopolitan ("Cosmo") project location.

This permit allows the Endeavour jack-rig to be moved onto the Cosmo location and jack it legs down onto the sea floor.

The Company in its role as Operator of Cosmo, applied for the LUP in early October 2012 with the public comment period being completed on 30 November 2012, the LUP application was amended as a result of that process and it has now been granted.
