ASX:AGO) announced an increase in its total Pilbara ore reserves of 21% to 499 Mt, further strengthening the company's existing operations, near term development projects and its longer-term growth strategy.The upgraded reserve estimate, which compares to the previously published figure of 30 June 2012, includes a 21% increase at Mt Dove and a 25% rise at Abydos, where construction is currently underway. The upgrade includes a 98% increase in reserves at McPhee Creek.
