ASX:TPD) advises that O'Brien Energy Company ("O'Benco"), the operator of the Roundhouse Prospect proof of concept well (Bonner 1H), reported that during fraccing operations on 25 July 2013 the 7 inch and 9.625 inch casings parted in the well. Talon has a 24.25% Working Interest in the Bonner 1H well.
O'Benco has advised that Boots and Coots well control specialists are currently on site and evaluating the well conditions and that two contractors had been injured in the incident.
Once Boots and Coots have completed their evaluation, Talon would be able to assess the impact of the incident on the completion of the Bonner 1H well.
The necessary authorities and the insurance company have been advised of the incident.
