ASX:TGS) (the "Company") advise that Tiger's Chairman Mr Neil Fearis will step down as Chairman of the Company and retire from the Board with effect from 31 December 2015 and Mr Mark Connelly will assume the role of Chairman from that date.Mr Fearis, who was appointed Chairman in May 2011, has overseen the development of the Kipoi Copper Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo from a copper concentrate producer to a 25,000t/a cathode copper producer and throughout his period as Chairman has been a strong advocate for the Company.
Mr Michael Griffiths (Interim CEO) said "On behalf of the board and our employees, I thank Neil for his significant contribution in a tough copper market and wish him success in his continuing and future roles."
Mr Griffiths also commented "We also welcome Mark as our new Chairman and look forward to continuing success under his stewardship"
