Geneva, 6 March 2008. Patrick Herr, the head of the Media Service and skyguide's media spokesman, is leaving skyguide at the end of May. His new position will take him back to his home region of Basel. His successor is currently being sought.

Skyguide CEO Daniel Weder will be sorry to see him go. «Patrick Herr's departure means that skyguide will be losing one of its brand images. He has consistently been a professional, capable and worthy representative of the company through good and very difficult times alike». However, it is entirely understandable that at the age of 43, he should be keen to tackle a fresh challenge.

Patrick Herr joined skyguide on 1 April 2002, taking over the Media Service and constantly expanding it.
