Camposol Holding Plc. (OSL:CSOL) Camposol Holding Plc. reported sales of USD 37.1 million in the second quarter 2008 and USD 68.6 million for the first half of 2008. EBITDA without fair value adjustment was USD 8.3 million in the second quarter and USD 8.6 million in the first half 2008.
Camposol raised USD 15 million during the second quarter 2008 through a private placement directed towards FIDAF, a private Peruvian Fund investing on behalf of Peruvian pension funds in agro business and forest development.
Camposol has during the first half of the year invested approximately USD 25 million, mainly in land development and irrigation infrastructure. New crops are expected to be planted between the end of the third quarter of this year and the first quarter of 2009.
In the second quarter of 2008 Camposol eliminated 216 Has of asparagus, 84 Has of Mango, and planted 72 Has of avocado. The company planted 294 Has of pepper, 889 Has of artichoke and farmed 102 Has of shrimp ponds as of June 30, 2008.
