ALMA MEDIA RECEIVES A EUR 1.8 MILLION PROFIT FROM THE SALE OF AP-PAINO OY SHARES

Alma Media Corporation has sold the shares and capital loan receivables of its associated company AP-Paino Oy, a printing company (formerly Acta Print Kivenlahti Oy). In the arrangement, Alma Media receives a total of EUR 1.8 million as a one-time gain which will be reported in the Q4 2008 financials.
