Perth, July 24, 2008 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Adamus Resources Limited (ASX:ADU)(PINK:ARLTF) has identified a further zone of mineralisation below the existing Bokrobo deposit at its Southern Ashanti Gold Project in South West Ghana.

Highlights

Southern Ashanti Gold Project

- A further zone of mineralisation has been identified in a new host rock

- Visible gold was identified in swarms of narrow quartz veins in granite

- Drilling at depth has uncovered this new style of mineralisation

- Results included:
5.1m @ 12.85g/t 11.8m @ 5.34g/t9.5m @ 5.17g/t 2.8m @ 14.27g/t7.0m @ 3.13g/t 3.5m @ 8.64g/t
The mineralisation was intercepted after extending a planned infill drillhole some 150 metres deeper than anticipated after visible gold was identified in swarms of narrow quartz veins in a granitic host.

Bokrobo currently has a mineral resource estimate of 1.2 mt @ 2.38g/t Au in the Measured and Indicated category with a further 540,000 tonnes @ 1.93g/t Au in Inferred, all located in near-surface zones down to 100 metres.

Adamus CEO Mark Bojanjac said the new mineralisation is of a style not previously encountered in the area and has the potential to produce broad zones at depth.

This drilling is part of a larger programme to test the depth potential of all of the mineralisation at both the Anwia and Salman areas. Bokrobo forms part of the Anwia trend of mineralisation.

"This is an excellent start to Adamus' deeper exploration programme." Once the current programme is complete the Bokrobo mineral resource estimate will be updated. Adamus has completed the immediate multipurpose RC/Diamond drilling at Bokrobo and further work is being planned.

Current drilling is focussed on the Salman Trend with initial results to be released shortly.
