NewSat Limited (ASX:NWT) Continues To See Strong Growth And Success For The 5th Consecutive Quarter

Melbourne, Sep 24, 2009 AEST (ABN Newswire) - NewSat Limited (ASX:NWT)(OTC:NWTLY) strong growth and quarterly success continues as the company announces it has overachieved aggressive first quarter sales targets.

In a period when corporate Australia is struggling in the wake of the Global Financial Crisis, NewSat has gone from strength-to-strength in continuing to present an increase in quarterly results. This steady growth is a testament to the unique business critical satellite communications solutions provided out of the Adelaide and Perth Earth Stations. This period represents the 5th consecutive quarter where NewSat has exceeded sales targets, and yet again experienced both an increase in compound revenue and gross margin. These results are solid foundations to ensure NewSat deliver its maiden EBITDA profit within the 2010 financial year.

Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Andrew Matlock commented on the success. "There have been a number of key strategic initiatives by the company over the past 15 months. Our long term marketing strategy is starting to pay huge dividends, putting nearly double the opportunities in the sales pipeline compared to just 12 months ago. The end result has been more contracts, higher value contracts and stronger organic growth amongst our existing customer base."

Whilst the marketing and sales strategy is generating high returns, Chief Executive Officer Adrian Ballintine emphasised the continued cornerstone of the company's success is the quality of service provided out of the teleports. "I rate the Adelaide and Perth facilities as two of the best service providing Earth Stations in not only the Southern hemisphere but also the world. Our teleports and engineering force give our sales team the confidence to build ongoing relationships with our customers where high expectations are fulfilled. The bottom-line for me as CEO is I know when we sell a service to one of our customers they will be 100% satisfied. The delivery will give them exactly what they are looking for, a quality service which allows their business to be more efficient."

The company looks forward to announcing significant enterprise and government contracts that are in the final stages of negotiations. Together with a strong sales pipeline, and these upcoming contractual announcements, the organisation is in positive territory to deliver a sixth consecutive successful sales quarter for the period ending December 2009.
