Fifth Eagle Ford Well
Brisbane, May 17, 2012 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Texon Petroleum Ltd's (
ASX:TXN) fifth Eagle Ford well, Peeler EFS #1H (a lease commitment well), is drilling at a depth of 7,035 feet in the vertical part of the well, prior to drilling the horizontal section of the well.
Programmed total depth of 14,795 feet, including some 4,200 feet of horizontal section, is expected to be reached in about 14 days at which time the well will be cased prior to fracture stimulation and connection for production.
Texon has an 89.24% WI (66.88% NRI) in the well.
