Asian Activities Report for September 23, 2011: Redstone Resources (ASX:RDS) Report Significant Drilling Results from Tollu Copper Nickel Project

Redstone Resources Limited (ASX:RDS) has received significant drilling results from its wholly owned Tollu Copper Nickel project in Western Australia. An ongoing reverse circular (RC) drilling program has confirmed an earlier discovery and observed new thick zones of visible copper mineralisation. The present RC programme will continue elsewhere on the project area and a diamond drilling programme will be commenced to permit a definitive evaluation of the drilling data.

Blackgold International Holdings Limited (ASX:BGG) has signed an agreement to acquire a 100% interest in Qijiang Changhong Coal Industry Co., Ltd., which is the holder of the mining rights to the Qijiang Changhong Coal Mine situated in Qijiang County, Chongqing, China, for approximately A$14.9 million. The Company has commissioned independent geologists to undertake exploration and evaluation works in order to produce JORC-compliant resources at the Mine.

QMASTOR Limited (ASX:QML) says today that the company's Algosys Metallurgical Accountant(TM) software has been contracted to be installed by a large copper project located in Central East Asia. The Algosys solution will provide the processing plant with automated daily production reports featuring statistically reconciled process data. At month-end, the system will reconcile plant production with mine production, in-process inventories as well as product shipments prior to automatically generating official production reports.

Alloy Resources Limited (ASX:AYR) has commenced a 3,500 metre air-core drilling program at its Horse Well project in Western Australia. This drilling program will test to the north of the Warmblood discovery where the mineralisation is interpreted to potentially join with mineralisation at the Filly South West prospect. Filly South West has a high grade Indicated Resource of 90,400 tonnes at 7.85 g/t for 22,800 ounces of gold.

Larsen & Toubro Limited (BOM:500510), an Indian technology, engineering and construction group, has signed a USD 15 million Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contract in Oman for setting up a green field project. The project is expected to treat an average of 3 MMSCMD of gas to meet the growing gas demand in Oman.
