Mosaic Oil NL (ASX:MOS)(PINK:MSAOF) is pleased to advise that production casing will be run in the Freneau-1 gas/condensate wildcat exploration well as a precursor to a cased hole production testing program after intersecting multiple sandstone reservoirs within the Permian sedimentary section interpreted from wireline logs to be gas bearing.
Mosaic Oil NL (ASX:MOS)(PINK:MSAOF) is pleased to advise that the Company has been successful in a joint bid with L&M Petroleum (ASX: LMP) in being awarded Permit PEP 51151 onshore Taranaki Basin, New Zealand. LMP will be operator for the joint venture, and both Mosaic Oil and LMP will each hold a 50 percent interest in the permit.
Mosaic Oil NL (ASX:MOS)(PINK:MSAOF) reports Freneau-1 reached a total depth of 2438 metres on 22nd September 2008. Current operation is attempting to free stuck drill pipes at 1915 metres prior to carrying out wireline logging operations to evaluate hydrocarbon shows in the reservoir targets within the Rewan Formation and the Tinowon Formation.

Mosaic Oil (ASX:MOS)(PINK:MSAOF) is pleased to advise that the Taylor-19 gas/condensate development well reached a total depth of 2055 m on 30 August 2008 and will be completed for production initially as a Showground Sandstone gas/condensate well.
Mosaic Oil's (ASX:MOS)(PINK:MSAOF) Taylor-19 spudded at 2000 hrs on 24 August 2008. 12-1/4" surface hole was drilled to 221 metres and the 9-5/8" surface casing string was run and cemented to 218.7 metres. Current operation as at 0600 hrs on 26 August 2008 was rigging up the Blow Out Preventer stack.
