Mosaic Oil's (ASX:MOS)(PINK:MSAOF) MB Century Rig-7 is being moved to the Taylor-19 well site. A mud pump change out will be carried out by the drilling contractor prior to rigging up on the Taylor-19 well. Taylor-19 is expected to be spudded within the week.

Mosaic Oil's (ASX:MOS)(PINK:MSAOF) West Boggo Creek-1 exploration well reached total depth of 1987 metres on 16 August 2008. Wireline logs have been run and have confirmed the absence of reservoir quality sandstone in the target Showground Sandstone.

Mosaic Oil (ASX:MOS) has released the production and drilling schedule update, Surat-Bowen Basin, Qld. Net daily production of over 1500 BOEPD achieved in June 2008 against an original target of 1440 BOEPD for July 2008.

Mosaic Oil NL (ASX:MOS) advises that as at 0600 hrs (EST) on 1 July 2008 the Waggamba-5H gas and condensate development well was at 3086 metres MD (Measured Depth) (2622.9 metres True Vertical Depth or 2350.2 metres sub-sea) and is currently drilling ahead in 6-1/8" horizontal hole. The forward plan is to continue drilling the 6-1/8" horizontal section to the planned total depth
of approximately 3400 metres.
