AusTex Oil Limited (ASX:AOK) (PINK:ATXDY) advises that the company has acquired over 8,000 acres of oil and gas leases that is prospective Mississippi Lime acreage with a 70% Working Interest and a 58.8% Net Revenue Interest in Kansas. The Company has agreements on additional leases that will be announced upon settlement.

AusTex Oil Limited (ASX:AOK) says today that following on from the recent production success in Northern Oklahoma, AusTex Oil Limited is pleased to announce that management has completed a review of the oil and gas leases operated by the Company in this area only. Austex holds a 100% Working Interest and ~80% Net Revenue Interest in the 6,000 acre Snake River Project in Kay and Noble Counties, Oklahoma.

AusTex Oil Limited (ASX:AOK) says that production testing on the ETU#14-5 has commenced with the well fitted with an electric submersible pump with a variable speed control unit. The well is being pumped at an initial rate of 1,100 barrels of fluid per day. During the first 24 hours the well has started to produce oil and gas along with the load water from frac operations.

AusTex Oil Limited (ASX:AOK) says today that initial 30 day production testing on the ETU #15-4 well has now been completed at the East Tonkawa Unit near Tonkawa, Northern Oklahoma. A pump jack with a rod pump is currently geared to pump 320 barrels of fluid per day. An average of 50 boe/d was recorded during the period with 37 bopd and 95 mcf of gas per day or 15% of total fluid.

Following the successful completion of the ETU #15-4 well, AusTex Oil Limited (ASX:AOK) is pleased to report the successful fracture stimulation of the offsetting development well ETU #14-5 located in Kay County, Oklahoma. This is the second well under completion of a planned 10 well program to delineate the Mississippi Lime interval across the company's leases.
