Whitsunday Skyway - Land Purchase
Sydney, Jan 20, 2023 AEST (ABN Newswire) - The Chair of Australian Adventure Tourism Group Limited (
NSX:AAT) advises on behalf of the Board of Directors that the Group is pleased to announce that it has recently completed settlement for 2 parcels of land which have been secured to accommodate the proposed Whitsunday Skyway Projects Base Station infrastructure and access to the Conway National Park.
The cost of the land was $1.5m plus stamp duty and legal fees.
AATG is in the detailed assessment stage under the Queensland Government's Exclusive Transactions Framework and has signed a process deed with the State which outlines specific conditions that AATG is required to address before the State will consider granting land tenure for the Whitsunday Skyway Project. The grant of land tenure remains subject to AATG meeting statutory requirements; obtaining all necessary environmental and development approvals; and submission by AATG of its detailed proposal and approval by the State of that proposal under the Exclusive Transactions Framework.
AATG advises that it continues to progressively and conscientiously advance the required approvals to satisfy the specific conditions as outlined in the process deed.
