DragonAir To Add Fourth Weekly Flight To Frankfurt

Beijing, Mar 24, 2006 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Dragonair will increase the number of weekly scheduled B747 freighter flights from Hong Kong to Frankfurt from three to four from April 9 to meet growing market demand.

"The launch of this additional flight to Frankfurt reflects growing demand for our services, and will give our customers more options and greater flexibility," said Albert Yau, General Manager, Cargo.

"Demand for shipments from the Far East into Germany is particularly strong. And given Dragonair's unique network in China we are well-placed to serve this."

Dragonair's services to Frankfurt fly to/from the airline's home base of Hong Kong via Dubai.

The new Sunday service (KA520 ex-HKG and KA521 ex-FRA) will operate as follows: Departs Hong Kong Sunday 11:50 Arrives Frankfurt Sunday 21:55 Departs Frankfurt Sunday 23:55 Arrives Dubai Monday 08:05  Arrives Hong Kong Monday 21:35 The schedule for the three other weekly flights to/from Frankfurt remain unchanged:Departs Hong Kong Monday/Thursday/Saturday 07:45 Arrives Frankfurt Monday/Thursday/Saturday 17:20 Departs Frankfurt Monday/Thursday/Saturday 19:20 Arrives Dubai Tuesday/Friday/Sunday 03:40 Arrives Hong Kong Tuesday/Friday/Sunday 16:40 

In addition to the scheduled flights into Frankfurt, Dragonair also operates six B747-200/300 freighter flights a week between Hong Kong and Amsterdam and six weekly B747-200/300 freighter flights to Manchester in the UK.
