Sydney, Nov 30, 2007 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Crossland Uranium Limited (ASX: CUX) announce highlights of the Company's exploration progress as follows;
Crossland Creek Project, East Kimberley
An airborne magnetic and radiometric survey emphasised the presence of strong uranium channel anomalies in association with a linear magnetic feature. Our interpretation is that these uranium anomalies are leakage from a target at the unconformity at the base of the Kimberley Basin, a setting which is similar to that at the world's most profitable uranium deposits in the NT and Saskatchewan.
Chilling Project, NT
At Chilling the airborne geophysical survey is now in progress.
Several significant uranium anomalies have been identified by the work so far. To assist in the covering of extensive areas, a spectrometer with a GPS mounted on an all terrain vehicle has been devised to complement the airborne survey. This is delivering excellent productivity and is revealing detailed anomaly patterns.
Camping equipment has been positioned to allow helicopter- backed follow up of results that would normally be halted due to the wet season.
Charlie Creek Project,NT
The Tempest Airborne EM Survey completed over Charlie Creek has detected substantial sediment and channel development from source areas that have high uranium content. This untested setting could contain concentrations of uranium in calcrete and redox deposits similar to others in the region. These will be tested by drilling when possible.
Kalabity, South Australia
A new uranium prospect has been defined by Crossland's regional exploration activities. This project will be followed up in the early New Year when permits are granted.
