M2's Group Managing Director / CEO, Vaughan Bowen commented: "This partnership with Medibank Private represents the largest alliance struck by M2 to date and follows the recent success as the endorsed telecommunications provider to the more than 10,000 members of the Capricorn Society late last year, with the development of other strategic alliance arrangements presently in progress."
Medibank Private's National Loyalty and Health Promotions Marketing Manager, Penny Fraser, said of the partnership: "Medibank Private is delighted to announce this partnership with M2 as it characterises our desire to deliver real value to our members through products and services that are outside the scope of the traditional health insurance products we offer. We believe M2's offers will drive significant savings for our members."
Under the partnership, M2 will offer a broad range of products including fixed, mobile and data services to Medibank Private members.

M2's consolidated revenues now exceed A$160 million (annualised), approximately evenly shared between M2 Telecom and M2 Wholesale. On the basis of the successful completion of M2's acquisition of People Telecom Limited (ASX:PEO) in mid April 2009, annualised group revenues are expected to surpass A$250 million.
