ASX:PEK) advise that Mr. Rodney Foster has tendered his resignation as a non executive director of the Company to take effect from today. Mr. Foster was instrumental in the establishment of Peak Resources and has been a director of the Company since 2006 has made a significant contribution to the Company with technical and strategic advice throughout the past four years in his capacity as a non executive director of the Company.
The Company would like to thank Mr. Foster for his dedication to the Company and its shareholders during the period of his directorship.
The board of the Company is in the final stages of appointing an executive technical director and expects to be able to make an announcement about that appointment in the near future.
The recent rapid development of the Company's projects, in particular the Ngualla Project in Tanzania, has meant that the Company needs to build on its executive technical capacity at a senior level. The appointment of a new executive technical director forms a key part of this process as the Company focuses on moving forward with key projects.
