GENEVA, SWITZERLAND, January 2, 2008: Oracle today reported strong customer momentum within the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region during the second quarter of fiscal year 2008 (ended 30 November 2007). Many organisations in the region have adopted or expanded implementations of Oracle® Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware, and Oracle Applications, including the Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Siebel, Hyperion and JD Edwards.

Within applications, there has been positive response to Oracle's commitment to and investments in continued enhancements to the Oracle applications product lines; lifetime support under the Applications Unlimited program; and roll-out of advanced integration capabilities with Applications Integration Architecture.
