WestSide Corporation Limited (ASX:WCL) Paranui Drilling Update

Brisbane, June 25, 2010 AEST (ABN Newswire) - WestSide Corporation Limited (ASX:WCL) is drilling up to three new appraisal wells at its Paranui CSG pilot in ATP 769P near Moura in Queensland's Bowen Basin. The Paranui #12 well is the second of three appraisal wells which will aim to test gas and water flow rates from the Baralaba coal seams.

Selected coal seams in the three new appraisal wells - Paranui #11, 12 and 13 will be underreamed and cavitated before the wells are completed for testing of gas and water flows.

The performance of these cavitated vertical wells will be compared to the results from the existing three Paranui pilot wells which were subjected to fracture stimulation treatments.

The Paranui #12 well spud on 22 June 2010. Surface casing has been set to a depth of 111 metres and the well is currently drilling ahead at 350 metres towards its target depth of 1,000 metres.

Forthcoming program

Drilling will continue on Paranui #12. After reaching target depth, the well will be logged and selected coal seams will be underreamed and cavitated.
