Buccaneer Energy Limited (ASX:BCC)開始從Kenai Loop生產天然氣

Buccaneer Energy Limited (ASX:BCC)欣然表示，Kenai Loop 1號井已於2012年1月14日(美國時間)開始了天然氣生產。

公司預計，這口井將在頭2-3個月內每天生產多達500萬立方英尺的天然氣，同時也會對氣藏的表現進行監控。公司將會參與ENSTAR冬季每日競拍項目以便將天然氣賣給ENSTAR。 ENSTAR會通過這一每日競拍項目將未來24小時內對天然氣產品的額外要求提供給天然氣生產商，而天然氣生產商則可根據這些要求就天然氣的價格和氣量進行報價來銷售他們的天然氣產品。

ENSTAR在這一段時間內的冬季額外要求主要是根據天氣情況作出的，因此每天都會出現波動。

若每天的總產品量沒有能賣給ENSTAR，公司也可以根據與當地液態天然氣工廠簽訂的天然氣銷售協議向康菲石油(NYSE:COP)出售天然氣產品。

"實現Kenai Loop項目的天然氣生產和銷售是公司取得的一個重要的里程碑，也是我們在阿拉斯加項目的首次生產。公司對於團隊的速度和高效率感到非常驕傲，他們從Kenai Loop的資源發現、獲得開採權到實現生產僅僅用了不到9個月的時間，這其中包括建設輸氣管道、建設鑽探、生產和運輸大量天然氣所需的設備。公司非常期待開始2012年的鑽探工作。鑽探計劃於2012年第二季度開始，之後我們會開展離岸項目。"
