Schibsted (OSL:SCH) The project board of Media Norge has recommended the boards of Aftenposten, Bergens Tidende, Fædrelandsvennen and Stavanger Aftenblad to propose to the general meetings of the media houses the following amendments to the merger plan for Media Norge:

Schibsted (OSL:SCH) Stein Yndestad, CFO of Schibsted Classified Media, has on 9 October 2008 bought 200 shares at 89.90. Yndestad now holds 1,202 shares.

Schibsted (OSL:SCH) The employees of the Schibsted group have this year, as earlier years, been offered to buy shares in Schibsted ASA for up to NOK 6,000 at a discounted price. The price was determined from the average market price during the period September 15th to September 19th minus a 20% discount. This gives a price of NOK 93.33 per share and implies an acquisition of 63 shares. The subscription deadline was 30 September 2008. The following primary insiders have signed up for this offer:

Schibsted (OSL:SCH) Schibsted ASA has in relation to an employee share offering sold 57,645 shares to 'Stiftelsen Schibstedansattes Aksjekjøp' at a price of NOK 116.66 per share. The holding of own shares after the sale is 4,660,641.

Schibsted (OSL:SCH) The process of establishing Media Norge carries on. The project board of Media Norge was today informed that Schibsted intends to continue the project along the main lines drawn up earlier. Based on the significant changes that have taken place in the financial- and advertising markets, certain financial adjustments of the original plan are being prepared.

Schibsted (OSL:SCH) The project board of Media Norge has decided that the IPO of the new company will not be carried out this autumn. The timing will be evaluated further.

Schibsted (OSL:SCH) Jo Christian Steigedal, IR Officer of Schibsted ASA, has on 27 August 2008 bought 200 Schibsted shares at 136.75. Steigedal now holds 400 shares.

Schibsted (OSL:SCH) Schibsted ASA has on 22 August 2008 through a trader bought 30,000 shares in its own company at a price of NOK 140.8741 per share. Schibsted ASA now owns 4,718,286 own shares.
