Arseus (EBR:RCUSA) Waregem, 6 October 2008 - In accordance with the stipulations of article 29 of the Act of 2 May 2007 regarding the disclosure of major shareholdings in listed companies, Arseus informs that it has received the following three notifications of shareholding (situation on 1 September 2008):

* Fortis Investment Management SA 2,756,357 voting rights * Omega Pharma NV 7,500,000 voting rights * Couckinvest NV / Coucke 3,858,080 voting rights

Based on these notifications and the denominator of 31,195,121 (total number of voting rights), the structure of the shareholding is as follows:
