Beijing, April 24, 2009 AEST (ABN Newswire) - 2009 The 5th China Ningxia International Coal And Energy Industy Expo sponsored by Ningxia Energy Association will be held from June 18 to 20, 2009, at Yinchuan International Conference & Exhibition Center in Ningxia,China. As a key international energy industry fair in West China, the expo will provide a platform for energy companies to exhibit their products and technologies, as well as the corporate images.
The Second International Power Plant and Power Station Equipment & Power Environmental Protection Equipment Fair of 2009, as well as the International Coal Chemical Industry Summit, will be held at the same time.

Ningxia is located in Yellow River Upstream Area in West China, adjacent in North of Shan'xi Province and South of Gan'su Province. Ningxia is abundant in coal resources,In this region the proven coal reserves accumulatively reach to 31.9 billion tons and total perspective reserves is 202.9 billion tons, which makes Ningxia rank 6th in the country.
Ningdong Coal Base is one of 13 large-scale coal production bases planned by the State, and also exclusive Indirect Coal to Liquids demonstration base approved by the State Council, one of the fourth Coal Power Bases of Power delivering electricity form West to East, with the biggest investment (total capital more than 400 billion) and fastest development in the country currently.
Ningxia is the focus of the development of the Ningdong Coalfield, the main developer being the Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group Co.,Ltd, who are undertaking the development of six large-scale coal to power bases and seven coal to chemical bases. Ten large-Scale and modern coal mines, six large-scale coal chemical projects, two large scale electric power stations near coal mines, five electrical source bases for "Project for Delivering Electricity from the West to the East" will be developed.
Three organisations representing the industry of coal, coal chemical, coal deep-processing and coal integrative utilization will be developing in Ningxia.
