TSE:SAC) (PINK:SOHAF) is pleased to participate in the upcoming Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada International Convention, Trade Show & Investors Exchange Mining Investment Show March 6th-9th, 2011. The Company will be represented at booth 2109 of the exhibitor exchange hall and President and CEO, Greg Johnson, will present on March 8th at 3:40pm in Room 802 AB at the Metro Toronto Convention Center's South Building.
Mr. Johnson, formerly Vice President of Nova Gold Resources, will present updates on the Company's two large-scale properties: the Malku Khota project in Bolivia, one of the world's largest silver-indium resources, and the high-potential Escalones, copper-gold project in Chile.
Over the last year, South American Silver has experienced considerable growth, outperforming both the silver and gold price and equity indices for the greater part of 2010 resulting in the Company being one of the year's top performing development stage silver companies.
Mr. Johnson will discuss key drivers that have contributed to the mounting value for South American Silver over the last year and into 2011 including compelling supply/demand dynamics for the high-technology strategic metal, indium, emerging new high-technology uses for silver and the announcement of a $31.9 million strategic investment by a key regional player, Zamin Precious Minerals, which will allow the Company to advance its Malku Khota project into feasibility and Escalones project to the resource definition stage.
He will also share key project milestones planned for the 2011 including an updated resource estimate, PEA and initiation of the pre-feasibility study at Malku Khota and exploration drill program at Escalones.
