Director Appointment
Sydney, Aug 20, 2012 AEST (ABN Newswire) - AusTex Oil Limited (
ASX:AOK) (OTCQX:ATXDY) wishes to advise of the appointment of Mr Justin Clyne to the Board as a non-executive director pursuant to clause 12.7 of the Company's Constitution effective from today. Justin's appointment as a director is in addition to his current role as Company Secretary, which he has held since April 2009.
Justin was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia in 1996 before gaining admission as a Barrister in 1998. He is a director and/or secretary of a number of public listed and unlisted companies and has significant experience and knowledge in international law, the Corporations Act, the ASX Listing Rules and corporate regulatory requirements generally. Justin holds a Master of Laws in International Law from the University of New South Wales and is a qualified Chartered Company Secretary.
Justin's background as a lawyer will assist the Company in its transition to a dual listing on the TSXV for which preparations are underway.
