This initial contract with the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) covers the deployment of Envirosuite to enhance the management of air quality data from the District's continuous monitoring network of over 30 air quality stations and to help investigate incidents and community complaints relating to air pollution across the region.
Established in 1955 as the first regional agency of its type in the United States, the BAAQMD is responsible for regulating and monitoring sources of air pollution in the nine counties that surround San Francisco Bay. The win for Envirosuite follows on from a contract signed by the company with the South Coast Air Quality Management District (the district for Los Angeles) earlier this year.
