SAI GLOBAL Recruits For Publishing

Sydney, June 22, 2007 AEST (ABN Newswire) - SAI Global Limited (ASX: SAI) has appointed two leading electronic publishers to drive the expansion of its global publishing. Andy Wyszkowski has been appointed to the new role of Global Head of Business Publishing, and Martijn Laguna has been appointed General Manager Publishing Asia Pacific (designate), to replace Howard Paul, the incumbent, when he retires during the next financial year.

The news comes following SAI Global's acquisition last year of ILI Publishing in the United States and the United Kingdom and the August 2005 acquisition of the Anstat Group in Australia.

On announcing the move, SAI Global's Chief Executive, Ross Wraight, said "The appointments reaffirm our commitment to build one of the world's leading technical publishing businesses in the standards and regulatory content market."

"As Global Head of Business Publishing, Andy will be based in the United States and will be responsible for implementing SAI's international publishing strategy, which will see the continued shift to electronically delivered content, organic growth and the acquisition of related businesses and intellectual property rights."

Andy joins SAI Global from ProQuest Business Solutions (PQBS), one of the world's leading providers of electronic parts catalogues and performance measurement systems for the automotive, power sports, heavy equipment and outdoor power markets. As President of PQBS, Andy led the company's organic and acquisition strategies and developed its next generation software platforms. Andy has more than 16 years' experience in legal publishing having held senior management roles with West Group (part of Thompson Corporation) and LexisNexis.

Martijn Laguna has extensive experience in marketing and management within the information industry, including legal and technical publishing, workflow software and electronic publishing. During his 12 years with the major international publishing house Wolters Kluwer he has held senior roles in both the Netherlands and in their Asia-Pacific subsidiary CCH Australia Ltd.

The Asia-Pacific division of SAI Global's Business Publishing is one of the key drivers of the group's profitability, and bringing Martijn's talent and experience on board at this stage ensures a smooth and seamless transition of management responsibility when Howard Paul retires.

"In welcoming both Andy and Martijn to the SAI Global team I would like to thank Howard Paul, the current head of Business Publishing, who will be retiring in the coming year. Howard's leadership and expertise has helped build SAI's Business Publishing operations into an internationally recognised leader in its space. Howard led SAI's electronic content and marketing strategy and remains highly regarded in the Standards publishing market."

Both Andy and Martijn will join SAI Global on July 1, 2007.
