NEC and Zylotech sign Partnership Agreement

Melbourne, 10th November 2008 - NEC Australia today signed a Partnership Agreement with Zylotech Ltd to consolidate our position in the Surveillance Technology market for Australasia.

NEC sees Zylotech as an ideal strategic partner for leading edge surveillance technology. Our combined CCTV/IVS technologies will enable us to establish new relationships with major IT players and their Distributors in addition to serving selected national security and enterprise based businesses.

This business activity will be managed via Zylotech's IT Channel Business Development Division and NEC will actively promote this end-to-end 'best of breed' intelligent video management system through its channel. NEC is convinced this partnership will add value to our existing range of services and bring significant benefits, including cost effective delivery of intelligent Video utilising NEC's algorithm based technology to our channel partners.

"This partnership offers NEC customers innovative tailored solutions for surveillance, technical expertise, and excellent service" said Wataru Takeuchi, Managing Director, NEC Australia.

"We integrated our intelligent video surveillance technology, SmartCatch(R) into Zylotech's video management platform of products earlier this year, providing customers an extremely powerful and reliable CCTV/IVS solution that encompasses both technologies and provides cost effective delivery of intelligent Video utilising NEC's algorithm based technology" said Takeuchi.

Tim Dobbin, General Manager Sales and Distribution of Zylotech said "This is an acknowledgement of a great synergy between a leading multinational like NEC and an innovative Australian technology company like Zylotech. In addition, the seamless compatibility of NEC's SmartCatch(R) Analytics software with Zylotech's Smart G TM Enterprise Protection Hardware and Software technology will become a unique value proposition to customers such as government agencies, airports, seaports, infrastructure and other industries".

Charles Ando, General Manager for New Business Development at NEC Australia added: "This partnership allows both organizations to target the CCTV and IVS market by providing organisations a one-stop-shop for managed solutions".

NEC is confident this agreement should generate in excess of A$20M revenue for the 'Partnership' over the next 3 years.
