Sayona Mining Ltd (ASX:SYA) Itabela Drilling Program

Brisbane, Feb 19, 2016 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Sayona Mining Limited (ASX:SYA) ("Sayona" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the planning of a drilling program at the Itabela graphite project in Brazil.

The reverse circulation drilling program will comprise approximately 2,000 metres and some 30 boreholes. The aim of the program, includes:

- Testing the grade, and strike and lateral extensions of known mineralisation at San Manuel and San Ruben;

- Testing depth extensions to know mineralisation where the limit of drilling is generally between 10 and 20 metres from surface;

- Drilling a number of higher-grade satellite areas where there is limited drilling; and

- Validating assays from historical drilling programs.

The drilling data will be used to complete a resource estimate and scoping study.

The drilling program is scheduled to commence on the 22nd February and to be completed within a month.
