Asian Activities Report for October 31, 2011: Endocoal (ASX:EOC) Increases JORC Resources at Rockwood Coal Project to 312.5 Million Tonnes
Circadian Technologies Limited (ASX:CIR) has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to initiate clinical trials of VGX-100 in the USA. The Phase I trial will study VGX-100 in patients with a variety of late stage cancers, particularly glioblastoma and metastatic colorectal cancers. The Phase I trial is expected to commence before the end of 2011 with results due in the second half of 2012.
Golden Gate Petroleum Ltd (ASX:GGP) says today that the SRH-A #8A well in the Permian Basin Project in the USA has reached a total depth of 9,500 feet. Several oil and gas shows were recorded. The Company believes that significant amount of rich gas often accompanies recoverable oil, suggesting the well can become another above average producer in the area.
Cove Resources Limited (ASX:CVE) has entered into a binding agreement for the acquisition of 100% of Blenheim Resources Limited, a mineral exploration company with rights to acquire several highly prospective projects in Western Australia. Projects to be acquired under the agreement with Blenheim Resources Limited cover a range of commodities, including copper, gold, silver, zinc, lead, antimony and iron ore. Exploration work programs are ready to commence.
