Piper Jaffray Asia Securities Limited has rated Fufeng (HKG:0546) at "Overweight" and has raised its target price from HK $5.00 to HK $6.00 with the improved earnings estimates. Piper Jaffray Asia Securities Limited revised up its FY09E-11E earnings estimates by 10%-11%, as the securities had increased the ASP assumptions for MSG for 4Q09E and FY10E by 6% and 6%, respectively.

Asian Markets Overview of February 9

Asian shares mostly declined yesterday on uncertainty about the sovereign debt issue in Greece, Spain and Portugal. Japan's Nikkei stock average sank 1.1 percent to a two-month low at the close. South Korea's Kospi fell 0.9%, while Hong Kong's Heng Seng Index lost 0.6%. But Singapore's Straits Times Index gained 0.4.

The Australian share market dropped sharply to a three-month low on Friday follwoing the plummet in overseas stocks and commodities prices. About A$31 billion was wiped from the value of stocks after the massive selling in Australian shares. At the close, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index fell 107.3 points, or 2.32 per cent, to close at 4514.3, while the broader All Ordinaries index lost 111.4 points, or 2.4 per cent, to 4532.7.

The last trading day of January ended with a sharp loss on Friday. Australian shares plunged more than 2 per cent while the market was clouded with negative sentiment.
